How to make pigs in a blanket
Pigs in a blanket is the perfect snack to make for a potluck, football game party, or any type of party. They are easy to transport, bite-sized, and delicious! I can never eat just one. Who am I kidding, if no one else was around to eat them with me, I’d eat the whole batch! In this tutorial, I will show you how to make pigs in a blanket. They are very simple to make and all you need is some little smokies and Pillsbury Crescents. I always get the honey flavored croissants, they make pigs in a blanket even more yummy!
Pigs in a blanket recipe
Ingredients:
- Little Smokies (I use Hillshire Farm Lit’l Smokies)
- Pillsbury Crescents (I use the honey butter flavor)
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 375°. This next part is optional, but I run the little smokey dogs under warm water and wrap in a paper towel to rinse and soak off extra grease.
Step 2:
Open your can of Pillsbury Crescents and cut each triangle into thirds as shown below.
Step 3:
Starting from the wide end of the triangle, roll your little smokie dog up all the way to the small, pointed end.
Step 4:
Put on an ungreased cookie sheet or line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and place all your rolled up smokies in crescents on. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or till crescents are golden brown.
Done! You now know how to make pigs in a blanket. Super easy and super delicious. Now just throw them on a pretty party plate and you are going to be the favorite at your potluck or party!
